Flat Stanley returns.

Last week our Flat Stanleys returned from Seattle, Washington and Orange City, Iowa in USA. The students who recieved our Stanleys gave them a wonderful time and returned them with great photos and stories. It was a very exciting time for us, as we recalled all that our Flat Stanleys had done.

Some of our students have now exchanged addresses and will continue to write to one another.

We are eagerly awaiting the return of our Stanleys from Scotland and Japan.

  3. HI Mrs Hembree,
Thank you for visiting our blog.
Today is the last day of the term and tomorrow the holidays begin.
We have 4 terms in Australia. Each one is about 10 weeks long with a 2 week holiday in between. Our long holiday (5 Weeks) is during Summer, and goes from just before Christmas till the end of January.

  4. Dear Mrs. Howlin’s students,

I am so pleased that the Flat Stanleys arrived safe and sound from Seattle! They had such a great time here!

It is fun to see a photo of my car and our big stuffed dog, Reese Too on your blog! A little bit of Seattle now is in your library!

We are on our summer vacation. We use the word vacation in America, which means the same as holidays in Australia.

Some of the other schools in Australia are having a school holiday soon. Are you having one too?

    Enjoy your vacation!

  5. Hello, Mrs. Howlin’s students,
I am so glad you received the package from Iowa safely! We had fun with your Stanleys. My students are on their summer break now, as you are busy at school in the coolest part of your year. We will look forward to connecting again when we come back to school.

Have a great time learning in school,
    Mrs. Krebs
